Phở

Vietnamese noodle soup

Phở is the dish Vietnam is known for: a clear, slow-simmered broth poured over flat rice noodles, finished at the table with fresh herbs, bean sprouts, lime and chilli. It is breakfast in Hanoi and dinner everywhere else.

At Dang's Kitchen the broth is made in-house and simmered for hours. We serve four versions: Phở Tái with thinly sliced beef that cooks in the hot broth, Phở Gà with chicken, Phở Hải Sản with seafood, and Phở Chay, a vegetarian bowl on a vegetable broth.

A bowl is a full meal on its own. Many guests share a few tapas first and then finish with a phở — that is how we would eat it too.
